How to add custom Milestones on Project Schedule Modal?

A specific point within a project that marks the completion of a major task or deliverable

Similar to Phases and Subphases, Custom Milestones offer flexibility in tracking project progress. Instead of using standard Milestones, a Custom Milestone can be named specifically to align with the project's unique requirements. A Custom Milestone can be added to a Project or placed under a Phase or Subphase for better organization.

  1. To add a Custom Milestone to a Project, click Add at the top, then select Add Milestone. To add a Custom Milestone to a Phase or Subphase, click the three-dot menu on the Phase or Subphase and select Add Schedule Item > Add Milestone.

  2. Click Add Custom Milestone on the top of the menu.

    Clicking the Manage Standard Milestones button will open Org Settings > Standards > Milestones in a new tab, where a standard Milestone can be created and made available across all Projects.

  3. Enter the Milestone title, select a parent Phase or Subphase, and click Create.

  4. The Milestone will show.
