Import/Linking Data

In this video I'll be showing you how to import data into mosaic. Once we have established a connection between Mosaic and our third party application, we can begin the process of importing or linking our data on mosaic. Let's start by navigating to the integrations settings page. On the integration settings page, select your instance from the current integrations menu. Once we are inside of the specific integrations settings page, we are presented with several tabs indicating the data types that are available for import.

Members also known as employees can be either imported as new or linked with existing member on mosaic. To bring in a member into Mosaic for project planning purposes, select that member and click either import as new or link with existing. You can use Link with existing if there is an existing Mosaic account for that team member. To link the member with an existing account you can choose the Mosaic member from the drop down menu.

To import a member as new select this option and confirm that the name and email of the member are correct. You can also edit these fields as needed. Once you have confirmed that the information is accurate, click import one. And once linked, you'll be able to see all of the linked members between your third party application and Mosaic under the linked to Mosaic section. Thanks for watching.
