Team Builder

Easily build project resources using the team builder tool

  • In the planner space, click +Member in side a project

  • Add the unassigned roles needed for the project if not already added to the project

    • You also have the option to add any additional requirements needed for those roles

  • To modify the Phases/Work Categories you need an unassigned role to work in

    • Click Phase button on the top

    • Select the Phase(s)/work Categories by clicking +; deselect the Phase(s)/work Categories by clicking Remove

    • Click Add button on the top

  • For each Work Category under a Phase or Subphase you can enter in:

    • phase dates - if not already populated from the project schedule

    • dates required - enter in dates needed for the unassigned roles to work on the project

    • budget hours - estimated hours budgeted for this role

      Members that are a good fit for each role will populate to the right of their name displays a purple bar showing their availability

      Click the caret one the left of the member's name to hide or show the explanation as to why they are a match.

Click on the + to the right of a members name to assign the hours to the members or you can assign to multiple phases at once.

Click on the three dots to the right of a member's name to view their profile, hide them from this team builder view or view them on the org chart.

Access the project's Budget information by selecting the Budget button on the top.

To see or add to the project team, expand the project phases located on the right side of your screen. Click + Members

Select the Phase/Subphases/Work Categories to add to by clicking the + button. Click Done.

Select the members/unassigned roles you want to add. Click Add.

Note: Only members in the project can be added to the phase. Members will be automatically added to the project, if they are not in the project yet.
