Work plans and scope requests are essential tools for project management, providing a framework for planning, execution, and control. They ensure that projects are well-defined, resources are allocated efficiently, and progress is tracked effectively, ultimately contributing to the successful completion of projects within the specified timeframe and budget.
Click Requests on the top left of the Workload or Planner Space
You can view requests for Work Plans and Scopes by clicking the buttons on the top.
Click "+ Request" to request resources for projects.
Fill in all relevant fields and click "Create" or "Save".
The only required field is Assignee
Approver: The person who will accept or decline the request.
Role: If you don’t know the named resource but know the role required, select the relevant role.
Assigned To: The resource/member you are requesting to work on this project (only Role or Assigned To needs to be completed).
The only required field for scope request is the scope name
Approver: The person who will accept or decline the request.
Assigned: The resource/members you are requesting to work on this project (only Role or Assigned To needs to be completed).
The approver can approve the request by clicking "Approve" or delete the request using the three-dot menu in the top left corner.
You can also filter the existing requests by:
Date Requested
Approver
Project
Assignee
On the Scope request tab, you can view requests that are still open or approved.
Work Planners with the following permissions:
Work Planner > Can Edit > Projects they are a Member of
Work Planner > Can Edit > Projects they are a Project Manager of
can only see Project names that they are a Member of or a Project Manager of, other projects will show as Private Project.
