The backlog report shows how much time has been planned and how much time is remaining as a reminder. Remaining time equals budget minus spent minus planned. You can either do this report by project or by member by clicking on the correct option under the name of the report. You can also pick to view it by bill rate or cost rate. Clicking on the eye here will allow you to show or hide blank projects. If you click on the arrow to the left of the project you'll be able to see the planned and the remaining time broken down by phase.

When viewing this report by member it will show you the planned and remaining time scheduled per person selected for all projects. Simply click on the number of members here to pick which members you are viewing. You can then click on the arrow to the left of the member's name to expand it and break it down by project and even phase.
