# Organization Settings - Standard Rates

Set up the default Rates to assign to the members of organization

A list of **Bill Rates** can be created and assigned to **Members** within the organization. **Bill Rates** are used in **Hourly Projects** or **Phases**, where fees are calculated based on hourly rates. The page displays only the **Rates** associated with the selected **Currency**.

### How to add Team Currency?

1.  Navigate to **Organization Settings** > **Standards** > **Rates**. Click the **Currency** dropdown at the top of the page.

2.  From the dropdown menu, select **\+ New Currency**.
    
    > **Info:** If only one Team Currency is currently set, this step will be skipped automatically.

3.  In the search field, type the currency name or its three-letter code (e.g., USD, EUR) to find the desired currency. Click the **+** icon next to the currency to select it.

4.  Click **Add** to confirm the selection.

5.  The newly added currency will now appear in the **Currency** dropdown list.

### How to archive a Team Currency?

1.  In **Organization Settings**, navigate to **Standards** > **Rates Page**, then click the **Currency** dropdown at the top.

2.  Click the three-dot on the currency to be removed and click **Archive**.

3.  A confirmation modal will show. Click Archive to proceed.

4.  The currency will be archived. Archived currencies will still be visible in the **Add Currency** dropdown with an “Archived“ label.

### How to delete a Team Currency?

1.  In **Organization Settings**, navigate to **Standards** > **Rates Page**, then click the **Currency** dropdown at the top.

2.  Click the three-dot on the currency to be removed and click **Delete**.

3.  A confirmation modal will appear. Check the box to confirm: **"I confirm that I want to delete \[Currency Code\]."** Click **Delete** to finalize the removal, or **Cancel** to abort the action.
    
    > **Info:** If the currency is currently in use, it will be **archived** instead of deleted. Archived currencies remain visible in the **Add Currency** dropdown with an "Archived" label and can be restored if needed.

4.  It may take some time to complete the deletion process.

### How to add a Standard Rate?

1.  Select the desired currency from the top **Currency** dropdown menu.
    
    > **Info:** **Rates** can share the same description across different currencies; however, within the same currency, each **Rate** description must be unique.

2.  Click **+Rate** on the top.

3.  Enter the **Rate** amount and a description, then click **Add** to create the **Bill Rate**, or click **Cancel** to discard the entry.

4.  The newly created **Rate** will appear in the list, sorted in alphabetical order.

### Modify Standard Rates

1.  Select the desired currency from the top **Currency** dropdown menu.

2.  Click on the desired **Rate** from the list.

3.  Edit the **Rate** amount and description as needed. Click **Save** to apply the changes, or **Cancel** to discard them.
    
    To archive the **Rate**, click **Archive**.
    
    > **Warning:** Updating a **Rate** will automatically apply the changes to all **Members** currently assigned to that **Rate**.

### Unarchive Standard Rates

1.  Scroll down to see archived Rates.

2.  Click the Rate.

3.  Click **Unarchive** on the modal.

4.  The Rate will be unarchived.
