If you do not need to track project costs, or if you do not have the resources to maintain accurate cost estimates, you may want to disable the feature. If you are considering disabling the cost rate in Mosaic, it is important to weigh the pros and cons carefully. Contact your CSM to make a request.
After cost rate feature is disabled, you will not be able to see any cost rate.
Budget
Rate display toggle will not be visible and you cannot view budget in cost rates.
CSV export
The export file from Workload, Planner, Timesheet Report , Planned Time Report, Budget > Time, Bduget > Scope, Budget > Spent will not contain any cost rate information.
Organization Settings
Members > Rate will not show cost rate column and the bill rate/ cost rate toggle on the top of the page.
Rate groups will not have the cost rate column.
Permissions > Project Access Settings
The View Budget By Cost Rate setting will not be visible on the list
Reports
Reports will not have rate display toggle like below
