# Integrating Data from External Platforms into Mosaic

With an active integration, Projects and other data can be imported or linked from external platforms directly into Mosaic.

## Importing vs. Linking

-   **Importing**: Brings data into Mosaic if it does not already exist.
    
-   **Linking**: Connects existing Mosaic data with integration platform data for continuity and synchronization.
    

Data can be imported or linked through the integration settings by navigating to:

## Supported Data Types

Available data types may vary by integration and can include:
